Harald J. Henningsen, M.D.Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr. Henningsen graduated from the University of Vermont Medical School in 1981. He also attended the University of Vermont as an undergraduate with a degree in biochemistry. He served a four year residency in orthopaedic surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. He served as Assistant Chief of Orthopaedics at the 121st Evacuation Hospital in Seoul, Korea and finished off his army career in Ft. Benning, Georgia in 1988. Dr. Henningsen has been caring for Central Florida athletes with our group for over 23 years. He has served as team physician for the Florida Seals professional hockey team and the Osceola Ghostriders of the WIFL. He has served as host of America's Health Network's "Ask the Sports Doctor" television show. Dr. Henningsen is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery since 1988 with subspecialty board certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine obtained in 2007.
Dr. Henningsen does primarily knee and shoulder arthroscopic surgery as well as knee and shoulder joint replacement surgery. He performs minimal incision "all-inside" ACL surgery and arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
